Inspired by the meatier Track'ster concept, the new Soul made its first appearance in March, debuting with an America-focused styling pack.
Likewise, the facelifted Optima made its US market debut at the same time, revealing a number of key updates inside and out.
Both cars will get subtle tweaks for the European market - and likely also for Australia - with a trio of teaser images today hinting at what's to come.
The standout changes go to the Soul, building on its original MINI-targeting design by adding a blacked-out roof and A-pillar, along with new gloss-black fender flares and a black finish to the front grille frame.
And, while local specifications are still to be confirmed, it is likely we can expect this styling approach for the Australian model, due here early in 2014.
The Europe-bound Optima is largely unchanged from the update revealed in March, and Kia promises improvements to the sedan's driving refinement.
Kia says it has added a new dynamic damper to the rear suspension cross member, along with enhanced sound-proofing and stronger alloy wheels.
The Optima also picks up a new blindspot monitoring system joins the range as an optional extra, including rear cross-traffic alerts and rear parking sensors.
Watch for Australian details for the new Soul and updated Optima to surface in the coming months.
