Citroen will soon roll out a light update to its global C3 light car, adding a number of modest styling tweaks and new engine options.
Revealed ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut next month, the 2014 C3 will introduce the same exterior makeover given to Brazilian-market models in 2012.
The C3's standout styling change is at the front end, picking up a new grille and bumper design that brings the light hatch in-line with the larger C4 small car.
Interior design for the European model remains largely unchanged, with tweaks limited to new trim colours.
Australian specifications for 2014 are still to be confirmed, but the European C3 will add a pair of new 'PureTech' three-cylinder petrol engines, also featured in the Peugeot 208.
One engine is the 50kW 1.0 litre unit, the other being the 60kW 1.2 litre mill.
The updated C3 will appear at next month's Geneva Motor Show, with an Australian debut likely to occur toward the end of 2013 or in early 2014.
