Leaked renderings may have already revealed the new Corvette, but it takes more than that to upset the teaser train.

This fourth new video clip offers fans a glimpse of the coupe's manufacturing process, along with the requisite commentary on the brand's commitment to quality.

The new short follows teasers released over the past couple of months, one of them revealing the sleek car's new digital dash design.

The digital cluster, previewed for a few short moments in the latest teaser clip, will display the usual assortment of data, from speed and revs, through to engine condition and lap timing.

That video also revealed a first look at the car itself, if only a wireframed outline, displayed in the middle of the digital instrument cluster (see gallery below).

GM has also recently revealed details of the new Corvette's engine, confirming that power will come from the new Gen5 LT1 V8 engine, producing at least 335kW and 610Nm.

A 0-100km/h time of under 4.0 seconds is also promised, bettering the 4.2 time of the current model.

As for the big coupe's appearance in Gran Turismo 5, early reports that the game's developers may have slipped the car into the game of their own accord have been debunked by the General.

“Through this unique collaboration with Gran Turismo, Chevrolet is able, for the first time, to give performance car enthusiasts access to such an exclusive driving experience," Chris Perry, Vice President of Chevrolet Global Marketing said.

"Careful attention was paid to the tiniest details from the creases and wrinkles in the soft camouflage used to disguise the new design to specific driving characteristics that are currently being tuned and refined ahead of the vehicle’s official debut."

The new Corvette will debut at next week's Detroit Auto Show.
