2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Update Revealed Ahead Of Frankfurt

Alfa Romeo's updated-for-2014 Giulietta hatch has been given an early unveiling ahead of this month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

New features for 2014 include a new diesel engine, revised styling, new wheel designs, an updated steering wheel and new trim options.

The new engine is a 2.0 litre turbo-diesel JTDM unit, making 112kW and 380Nm, which translates to less power but more torque than the 2.0 litre diesel currently offered in Australia. 

Fuel consumption figures are still to be confirmed, although Alfa promises sharper figures than its predecessor. The new engine is rated to 'Euro 5 +' emissions regulations, but Euro 6 compliance is planned.
