Alfa Romeo’s updated Giulietta hatch, revealed late in 2013 and launched in Europe earlier this year, has now touched down in Australia.
Styling is largely unchanged, with minor exterior updates joined by a significantly refreshed cabin, new features and greater ride refinement.
The changes have also seen pricing climb back toward the $30,000 mark however, with the range now kicking off from $29,000.
The Giulietta range has been streamlined for the new model year, with the diesel model deleted in a move to focus on the stronger-selling petrol range.
Six-speed manual and twin-clutch auto transmissions are again available with the Giulietta, although the entry-level ‘Progressive’ can be had in manual form only.
