Two years on from its first appearance on the DeZir concept, Renault is bringing its new family face to the wider production line-up.
Debuting with the updated Twingo and the Zoe electric city-car - and appearing this week on the all-new Clio range - the wing-like grille design will soon reach the Fluence sedan.
Spied testing in Europe this week, the updated Fluence marks the car's first major update since its international debut in 2009, and its Australian launch in 2010.
The spied car features light camouflage at the front and rear ends, with the new grille and a new front bumper clearly visible behind the squiggle-patterned vinyl layer.
The rear end does not reveal any obvious changes, although it is possible that minor tweaks to the tail-lights and boot lid are on the cards.
Launch timing for the updated Fluence is unclear, although it possible the sedan will appear alongside the Zoe and new Clio at September's Paris Motor Show as part of a unified branding promotion.
