Porsche’s Panamera mid-cycle update is undergoing its final stages of evaluation, as these cold-weather spy photos reveal.
This will be the first significant update to the Panamera since its unveiling at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2009.
These development mules caught testing in Europe are wearing only light camouflage, suggesting mild cosmetic updates to the model’s controversial styling.
Front and rear bumper designs appear to be new, with detailing likely to bring the model in line with the recently launched 911 and Boxster models.
The shrouding around the headlights hints at a possible styling change, which would also mean sheetmetal changes to the front guards.
The photos also suggest that a LED headlight option is on the way, with the distinctive four-element design similar to the units currently available on Cayenne models.
One major difference has become clear this week, however: reshaped new Cayman-like LED tail-lights will sit on the Panamera's rump.
