2013 Peugeot RCZ Bound For AIMS

Peugeot's updated 2013 RCZ coupe will make its local debut at next week's Australian International Motor Show, the carmaker has confirmed. Arriving on the heels of its unveiling at last week's Paris Motor Show, the tweaked RCZ will beat

Peugeot's updated 2013 RCZ coupe will make its local debut at next week's Australian International Motor Show, the carmaker has confirmed.

Arriving on the heels of its unveiling at last week's Paris Motor Show, the tweaked RCZ will beat out the 2013 arrival of another performing pug: the new Peugeot 208 GTi.

The little hotbox won't make an appearance at AIMS however, and neither will the low-slung Onyx supercar and scooter pair, or the warmed-over 2008 crossover 'design study'.

The 2008 is expected to make a production debut in the coming year, giving the French carmaker a new player in the hugely popular compact-SUV segment.

The 208 GTi will also hit Australia in the new year, creating a hot new 147kW option for buyers currently looking at the Polo GTI and awaiting Ford's Fiesta ST.

As for the RCZ, there's nothing new going on under the bonnet, but the Audi TT's style rival has been given a makeover to bring it in-line with Peugeot's new models.
