Nissan's massive new Patrol is now on sale in Australia, launching with one big V8 engine and three luxury-appointed trim grades.
Rather than replacing the Y61 Patrol, the new model will enter as a premium new flagship model above the existing workhorse range.
And a flagship it will be; it may not carry the premium Infiniti badge, but Nissan expects the new Y62 Patrol buyer will be the white-collar sort, earning over $130,000 per year.
Nissan's familiar trim grades will be offered, starting with the ST-L at $82,200, followed by the $92,850 Ti and the top-shelf $113,900 Ti-L.
The new Patrol range also launches with recommended drive-away pricing at $90,500, $101,680 and $123,780 respectively.
