Nissan has revealed details of its updated-for-2013 GT-R supercar, following its debut in prototype form at last month’s Australian International Motor Show.

These 2013 model year updates are the latest in a series of revisions since the GT-R’s 2007 debut, and are once again largely incremental refinements of the giant-killing model.

Nissan claims that these revisions are borne from feedback from its Nürburgring 24 Hour race campaign earlier this year, and result in improved performance, ride and handling, and high-speed stability.

Refinements to the GT-R’s 3.8 litre twin-turbocharged V6 include new injectors, changes to the turbochargers’ bypass valves, and a new baffle added to the sump.
