Mercedes-Benz' upcoming 2013 E-Class facelift has been caught in (almost) all of its glory this week, thanks to an eagle-eyed enthusiast in Spain.
Speaking with Spanish website Autofacil, photographer Victor Gutiérrez Poza said he spied the car in the middle of a film shoot as he watched from his hotel.
Poza's photo reveals a first look at the big sedan's new CLS-inspired headlights, along with an updated grille, bonnet and bumper design.
It is also clear that Mercedes has smoothed out the E-Class' profile, replacing the rear 'pontoon' wheel guards with a secondary character line.
The wide front intakes, 'V8 BITURBO' badge, boot lip spoiler, larger wheels and big braking package on this car also suggests we are looking at the flagship E 63 AMG.
Expect the updated E-Class to make its global debut in the coming weeks or months.
