Reports of a performance-focused B-Class have been circulating for more than a year. Now, these new spy photos offer a first glimpse at what could be the top-shelf 'B AMG'.
Boasting dual exhaust-tips and sitting on large AMG five-spoke wheels, the test car shown here was caught outside AMG's headquarters in Germany this week.
Mercedes itself has yet to offer any hint on its plans for an AMG-massaged B-Class, but we could expect to see a specially-developed four-cylinder engine sending hot-hatch power to the small car's front wheels.
Some reports out of Europe have pointed to power figures in the realm of 240kW, blowing away the likes of the 188/199kW Golf R and even the 224kW Ford Focus RS.
