Kia’s 2013 Rondo small people mover will be joined by the Track’ster concept on the Korean manufacturer’s stand at next week’s Australian International Motor Show (AIMS).

Confirmed by Kia today at the 2013 Sorento SUV’s local launch, AIMS will be the first time either vehicle has been seen on Australian soil.

The Rondo is still yet to go on sale in its native Korea (where it will be badged Carens), so we expect the model on show to be a ‘hands off’ visual display only, giving Australians a taste of what to expect when the model launches locally next year.

Track’ster on the other hand, remains very much a concept, but its local appearance gives greater credence to reports earlier this year that the concept could reach production as a second-generation Soul lifestyle hatch.

TMR will be on hand at Kia’s presentation of both vehicles at the AIMS media day on October 18th, so stay tuned for any updates.
