Honda’s refreshed 2013 CR-Z hybrid sports car has made a surprise debut at the Jakarta Motor Show this week.
Originally slated for a Paris reveal later this month, the new model features a host of subtle styling revisions - some of them already featured on the Australian version.
These include a redesigned front fascia, HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, and new foglights.
Tail-lights also now use LED illumination. The show car also displayed a new 17-inch wheel design.
Details remain scarce on the new model, though industry whispers suggest a power increase from the current 84kW to 100kW.
Whether this rumoured power boost is related to the previously revealed S+ dash button remains to be seen - though it is perhaps possible that this could manifest in a Formula 1 KERS-style temporary power boost system.
All will be confirmed at the new model’s official debut in Paris next week.
