Ford has updated its Transit light commercial range for 2013, adding standard bluetooth connectivity, voice control and a trip computer to the long-running model.
The new models are identified by body-coloured grille and standard fog lights, and a new wheel cover design on single axle Vans.
An optional convenience pack is now available, comprised of cruise control, leather steering wheel an daytime running lights on Bus and Cab Chassis models, while the pack also includes a reversing camera on Van models.
This convenience pack is priced at $600 on Bus and Cab Chassis models and $1100 on Van models.
Stability and traction control remain a $300 option on single axle Van and Bus models, while cab chassis and dual axle Transit 460 Jumbo Van models continue with these features as standard.
Despite these upgrades, manufacturer’s retail pricing remains unchanged for all models.
These MY13 upgrades are likely to be the last before the upcoming all-new Transit arrives - the timing of which is yet to be confirmed by Ford Australia.
