BMW's updated Z4 roadster has landed in Australia this week, bringing a number of small styling tweaks, more features and new options.

BMW has also added its eight-speed automatic transmission as standard to the four-cylinder models - although a six-speed manual remains a no-cost option - and the sDrive35is retains its seven-speed dual-clutch auto. 

Revealed in December, the updated Z4's styling revisions include a "dynamic sweep" to the side indicators, a trio of new paint options, new interior trim choices and new wheel designs.
