BMW's X1 crossover has come in for a mild styling and trim update, revealed at this week's New York Auto Show.
You could be forgiven if the tweaks aren't immediately obvious, with the 2013 X1's styling updates limited to a slightly larger grille, a new front bumper and revised headlight internals.
The interior design remains unchanged, although we can likely expect new trim options and new standard equipment to debut with the Australian update later this year.

BMW has confirmed that the updated X1 will land in Australia showrooms in the fourth quarter of this year, although exact specifications won't be confirmed until closer to launch.
Speaking with TMR today, a BMW spokesperson said that a local debut for the xDrive28i variant - powered by the 180kW N20 four-cylinder turbo engine already offered with the local 528i and Z4 sDrive28i - has yet to be confirmed.
The X1 xDrive28i hit European showrooms in January last year.
