BMW has bolstered its 3 Series line-up with the addition of the new 316i petrol sedan, available in dealerships from June. Priced at $50,900 (plus on-roads), the 316i forms a new entry point for the range, slotting in below the $56,400 318d diesel


BMW has bolstered its 3 Series line-up with the addition of the new 316i petrol sedan, available in dealerships from June.

Priced at $50,900 (plus on-roads), the 316i forms a new entry point for the range, slotting in below the $56,400 318d diesel and the $58,600 320i petrol. 

Power in the 316i is provided by a 1.6 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 100kW and 220Nm of torque.
