2013 Audi A3: Is This The First Official Image Of The New Hatch?

The look of Audi's new A3 is no secret, thanks to a recent run of photos that revealed the hatch's digital doppelganger on its new dash-top display.

Now, a new image has surfaced on Czech enthusiast website Auto-forum, purporting to be the first official image of the new A3 in its three-door hatch form.

For now, it is unclear if the image has indeed come from Audi, but a quick analysis suggests that if this is not an official press shot, it's awfully close to the real thing.

It is known that the new A3 will take much of its design inspiration from the A3 Sedan Concept revealed early last year, including the sharp new headlights and strong character lines.
