2012 Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series Brochure Surfaces Online

Like a screen door on a submarine, so seems the security in Toyota's marketing department. Just weeks after pages from the 86 coupe brochure appeared online, images of the 2012 LandCruiser look to have surfaced.

Like a screen door on a submarine, so seems the security in Toyota's marketing department. Just weeks after pages from the 86 coupe brochure appeared online, images of the 2012 LandCruiser look to have surfaced.

Marking its first major styling update since its international launch in 2007, the most obvious addition to the 2012 'Cruiser is the daytime-running LED lights up front.

The images also reveal a chrome grille, a new bumper design and new side steps - but with the pages clearly taken from the Japan-market "Toyota Original Accessory" brochure, it's unclear if these items will be standard equipment, or offered in Australia.

In Australia, the 200 Series range was most recently updated with the addition of the GX variant, entering as a ruggedised industry-focused version of the iconic 4WD.

The LandCruiser remains the weapon of choice for Australians seeking a big 4WD, with 733 sold in October and 7441 year-to-date. By comparison, Nissan moved 258 Patrol wagons in October and 2658 for the year so far.
