Toyota has announced that it will unveil the all-new 2012 Camry next week, with an official presentation set for Tuesday August 23 in the US (early on Wednesday morning in Australian time).

No other information has been released at this stage, although a leaked Canadian magazine article last week offered more than a few images and details ahead of the new model's launch.

Along with the leaked article, today's announcement follows a pair of teaser images released over the past few weeks, offering close-up views of the Camry's sharpened headlight and tail-light design.

An Australian launch is expected to occur in November, although Toyota Australia has yet to reveal details of the new Camry's local availability or specifications.
