Nissan has confirmed its line-up for next week's Chicago Auto Show, including the recent Pathfinder concept, and the powered-up 2012 GT-R.

Oh, and this one: a revised 370Z.

The "Z34" 370Z has been on the international scene since 2008, when it debuted at the LA Auto Show. It might be fair to say the car is due for a big update, and next week's show looks to be the event of choice.

Nissan has revealed little on what we'll see (and by little, we mean nothing) and it remains to be seen how far the updates will go.

What can we expect? The basic design of the headlights and taillights are unlikely to change, although we could see new LED daytime running lights, and tweaks to the internal layout of the lights at both ends.

New front and rear bumper designs could be on the cards, switching out the fanged mouth for something new and wider, flanked by separate intakes on either side.

Mechanically, there's little room to extract more power from Nissan's VQ37 engine (while keeping it warrantable), and a move to forced induction is unlikely.

If Nissan does give the Z a boost, it will likely be a small increase delivered through revisions to the intake and exhaust systems to open up the car's power curve.

We'll know more next week, watch this space.
