Mitsubishi's special-edition ACTiV pack has returned to the Pajero range this week, a year on from its last showroom appearance.

Based on the diesel-powered GLX model, the Pajero ACTiV adds an alloy nudge bar and alloy side steps, along with body-coloured door handles, front fog lamps, privacy glass and a rear spoiler.

In the cabin, the ACTiV features Mitsubishi's Multi Communication System, featuring voice recognition and a reversing camera. There's also an 860W Rockford Fosgate audio system.

Mitsubishi's Super Select II driving system is also featured.

On the safety front, the Pajero is equipped with Mitsubishi's RISE body constructrion, along with ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, and driver and passenger SRS airbags.

The Pajero ACTiV's mechanical package remains unchanged, with power drawn from a 147kW/441Nm 3.2 litre diesel engine.

The Pajero ACTiV is covered by Mitsubishi’s 10 year / 160,000 km non-transferrable drive-train warranty, five year / 130,000 km new vehicle warranty, five year/130,000km Roadside Assist and Capped Price Servicing for the first four years or 60,000 km of ownership (excludes government, rental, and some fleet buyers).

The Pajero ACTiV is priced at $58,990 drive-away.
