2012 Chrysler 300C Goes Plush With Luxury Package
The first-generation Chrysler 300C made its mark by offering buyers a ballin' Bentley look at a fraction of the price. For all its exterior flair however, its cabin never came close to matching the British brand's bespoke interiors.

The first-generation Chrysler 300C made its mark by offering buyers a ballin' Bentley look at a fraction of the price. For all its exterior flair however, its cabin never came close to matching the British brand's bespoke interiors.
Chrysler has moved to remedy that with the all-new 300C, and while it will never be a true rival, the leather-clad and chrome-trimmed cabin of the new Luxury Edition ought to please most buyers in its segment.
Externally, the Luxury Edition picks up a platinum-chrome finish to the mesh grille, door handles, mirror caps and bezels, along with a choice of 19 or 20-inch polished multi-spoke wheels.
Inside, it's an Italiamerican extravaganza, with a lavish load of Poltrona Frau "Foligno" leather applied to the seats, dash, door panels and centre console.
The steering gets a matching leather wrap, encircled by a chrome highlight ring, and there's a matte natural mocha wood trim applied throughout the cabin.

When will we see the new 300C replace its seven year-old predecessor in Australia?
"Sometime in 2012" is all the American carmaker's local arm has divulged at this point. But the brand has been on a Fiat-led revival in the past year and we can certainly expect to see the 300C - among other new models - heading to these shores in the not-too-distant future.
