Premiering in the US yesterday during the National Football League's Superbowl game, Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new 2012 C-Class Coupe and SLS AMG Roadster models in a new television commercial.
While the Superbowl represents one of the most popular events for expensive commercials and on-screen unveilings, this is the first year Mercedes has bought screen time during the event.
Titled simply 'Welcome', the ad sees a host of past Mercedes-Benz cars taking a leave of absence from their stables - including musician Diddy's S-Class and a post-crash test car - to visit the brand's newest offerings.
Technical details for both the C-Class Coupe and the SLS AMG Roadster have yet to be released, although it is likely that the new C-Class Coupe will feature the same engine and specification options as the sedan range - including the 225kW/360Nm six-cylinder petrol engine of the C 350.
