BMW's brand-new 6 Series Convertible is already cruising Australian beachside boulevards, and its hardtop accomplice will hit local showrooms next month.
Some Bimmer fans will be holding out for a little-something more however: the M-badged flagships. This week, TMR's spy photographers have caught the new M6 Convertible testing in Europe ahead of its early 2012 debut.
The usual M-specific features can be seen here, including a unique aero styling kit, quad-exhaust and deep alloy wheels with high-performance brakes. Expect a top-shelf sports suspension set-up and a host of M options.
Power for the M6 models will likely come from BMW's 4.4 litre V8 engine, producing 408kW and 680Nm of torque, matched to a seven-speed M Double-clutch transmission.
