Suzuki has announced Australian release of the all-new 2011 GSR750 'naked'. This follows its international unveiling late last year.

The GSR750 is powered by a 78kW four-cylinder 749cc fuel-injected DOHC engine, developed from the powerplant of the brand's incredibly popular and fully-faired GSX-R750 road rocket. The engine has a 72mm x 46mm bore and stroke and four valves per cylinder.

"We have been looking forward to the arrival of the GSR750 as it provides an all-new aggressive naked Suzuki street bike," Perry Morison, General Manager, Motorcycles, Suzuki Australia said.

"No other bike in its class has the pedigree of the GSR750, with Suzuki engineers taking the spirit of the legendary GSX-R750 and making a naked bike out of it."

Braking is handled by 310mm dual front disc brakes with Tokico hydraulic dual-piston calipers, and a 240mm rear disc brake with a single-piston Nissin caliper.

The GSR750 gets lightweight three-spoke cast aluminium rims, and a 1450mm wheelbase with 25°15′ of rake and 102  mm of trail.

In front of the rider is an analogue tachometer with an LCD display with digital speedometer, gear-position indicator, temperature gauge, fuel gauge, clock and selectable odometer/dual-tripmeter.

On the styling front, the GSR750 is stripped down to a sculpted front fender and headlight shell, along with chiselled front bodywork. There are gold-coloured anodized upper tubes for the inverted KYB front forks, and an exposed '4-into-1' exhaust system.
