Honda's Odyssey people-mover has come in for an update, gaining interior tweaks and features, plus a new colour option.

Inside, the entry-level Odyssey gets A-pillar mounted Bluetooth audio, and enhanced safety with the addition of reverse parking sensors.

The top-shelf Odyssey Luxury gets a new sat-nav system, plus a reversing camera, DVD player, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and 'SUNA life' traffic updates.

All Odyssey variants now also feature metallic highlights in the cabin, replacing the woodgrain of the outgoing model.

Rounding out the updates is a new colour option: Premium Mystic Night.

The Odyssey's powertrain remains unchanged, with the mid-size people-mover powered by a 2.4 litre four-cylinder engine that produces 132kW and 218Nm of torque.

Pricing

The 2011 entry level Odyssey has a Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP) of $41,990, while the the Luxury model has a (MLP) of $49,490.

The Future

With a mid-life facelift already performed, the current fourth-generation Odyssey is likely to be replaced in the next year or two.

Honda has yet to announce plans, but we can likely expect the next Odyssey to draw styling cues from the carmaker's Skydeck concept, revealed in 2009.
