The 2010 XKR update was launched in January this year, sporting a number of additions including a beastly 380kW (510hp) supercharged 5.0 litre V8 engine.

That's a heck of a lot of urge in anyone's language, but if you're the type that craves more (some might say excessive) power and have a big wad of spare dosh, German tuner Arden has a solution tailor-made for you.

The company has produced a twin-screw supercharger kit that claims to enhance top end power and improve driveability across the rev-range.

Arden says the kit provides a peak gain of 59kW (80bhp) and 140Nm (103lb-ft)of torque, along with a substantial improvement to the XKR's torque curve.

With the excess power at the car's disposal, Arden has also recommended purchasers take up the offer of an optional limited-slip differential system to help traction.

The LSD also helps improve cornering speeds and handling without increasing understeer or steering wheel snatch - typical bugbears of aftermarket LSDs.

Cost? Arden doesn't say, but if your pockets are deep enough to afford a brand-new XKR, odds are you'll be able to pony up the cash for Arden's bits.
