The guys over at the Australian Ford Forum have come across a bit of a local supercar scoop, in the shape of what is believed to be the world?s first right-hand-drive Ford GT.

The car you see pictured here has been converted by Melbourne-based companies Crossover Car Conversions and Mustang Motorsport, and is purported to be going through compliance testing to enable road registration.

How much we hear you ask? Cheaper than a mint GTHO but still out of the reach of most, with a cool AUD$500,000 said to be the asking price for the finished product. It is understood that a run of five RHD Ford GTs is being undertaken and all five of the modern American supercar classics are spoken for.
