While most of us would be happy simply to park any Porsche in our driveway, others crave a little more.

For those who want their Porker to stand out from the crowd, German tuning outfit Vorsteiner has taken a 997 Turbo and given it a Stormtrooper workover.

The Vorsteiner V-RT (Vorsteiner Race Technologies) aero package disposes of the standard fitment bumpers and spoiler, replacing them with bigger, bolder carbon fibre-infused units.

At the front end, the new bumper features deeper air intakes and a removable carbon-fibre front splitter designed to greatly increase downforce.

Side sills are extended to reduce turbulence and bring the whole package closer to the ground.

Out back, a new rear bumper houses a carbon-fibre diffuser incorporating quad exhaust outlets. Larger side vents are also in place to improve airflow.

The engine compartment lid comes in for attention too, with additional air scoops to push more air into the engine and a massive carbon-fibre wing for added downforce.

The entire kit is designed around the principle of improved air flow, as well as added downforce.  The additional vent work functions to deliver fresh air to the items that need cooling and expel waste air from components that are finished with it.

To round the package out, the Vorsteiner V-RT Porsche sits on 20-inch V-306 series three-piece forged alloy rims. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tyres provide the requisite grip.

Euro customers, get your wallets ready as the Vorsteiner package will be available to you from the end of March.  No word on pricing as yet.
