Off-roading is a delicate art, and one that often requires a deft wheel-hand more than it does a big engine. While cruising Japanese Nostaligic Car, we came across a vid that illustrates this point perfectly.

The subject of this film is a tiny Suzuki SJ10 Jimny, a lightweight 4WD from the mid-70s that wheezes a scant 24kW and 51Nm from its 540cc two stroke inline three.

Watching it struggle to get up this particularly muddy and rutted slope is a marvel in itself, not just because of the car's diminutive size, but because of the driver's sheer tenacity too. I practically cheered when it made it to the top, but boy, did it take a while. Enjoy.
