Is it knock-off time yet?  Brilliant, because folks, you don't want to have the boss plopping his hefty arse onto the corner of your desk and hurling more inane diatribe at you once you've settled into this.

National Geographic's TV channel in the US airs a great series called "Inside the Supercar", and the latest episode has featured none other than the Destroyer from Nagoya, the Nissan GT-R (okay, so Nissan isn't based in Nagoya.  I was reaching for a rhyme.  Poetic licence!)

While TMR may have been the first blog in Australia to publish a review of a road-registered R35 Nissan GT-R, National Geographic's special on the car is certainly something to behold.

Set to air in Australia sometime this coming summer, those of us who can't wait until then (all of us, obviously) are lucky; there's a web version.

There's no flood of technical details or new information in this video, but then, there's not much we don't all already know as far as that goes.  What National Geographic has done though is given us an insight into the passion and engineering prowess demonstrated during the development of this Porsche-killer, exploring the steps covered from the R35's conception right up to its unveiling in 2007 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
