Toyota FT-4X Concept Teased Ahead Of New York Auto Show – New FJ Cruiser?

A successor to Toyota’s axed FJ Cruiser and/or the North American 4Runner may arrive next month at the New York Auto Show when the Japanese giant unveils its FT-4X concept vehicle.

As teaser pics go, Toyota’s offering of the FT-4X’s wheel is somewhat lame, but the fact is, in North America, with the Jeep Wrangler soon to contend with the upcoming Ford Bronco, Toyota needs to keep some skin in the rugged off-roader segment.

The 18-inch Y-spoke wheel and 225/15 18-inch Goodyear off-road tyre indicate Toyota is heading in that direction with the newcomer. Stay tuned to TMR for more.
