Yep, the Formula One circus has well and truly come to Melbourne-town.

As a lighthearted warm-up to this Sunday's F1 season opener at Albert Park, Toyota driver Timo Glock spent some time at Calder Park with Toyota's Hilux Heroes stunt team learning the delicate art of driving a Toyota Hilux on two wheels.

Two-wheelin' isn't exactly a skill that would translate well into Formula One and a V6 Hilux isn't exactly a par with Glock's own  TF109 racer, but the German appeared to enjoy himself.

"This was a lot of fun, although I think it would be a little hard to drive a Formula 1 car on two wheels," Glock said.

After celebrating his new found skills with a few doughnuts, Glock turned talk to the weekend's main event:

"In all conditions the [F1] car looks strong. But testing is different to racing, so we have to see how the car performs in qualifying, but my perfect dream would be to win the first race of the season."

Such a win would provide a striking contrast to Glock's performance at Albert Park last year, where he left the circuit with a broken wrist, an even more broken car and Australian Grand Prix organisers rushing to modify the track surface to improve safety.
