Suzuki Kizashi Will Not Debut in New York

Fans awaiting the official reveal of the upcoming Suzuki Kizashi will need to keep holding their breath for a while longer. Suzuki has announced it will not debut the Kizashi sedan at the 2009 New York Auto show as expected.

Despite the setback, Suzuki says the Kizashi is still on track for its scheduled release in December of this year.

Suzuki however recently sent an email to North American Car and Truck of the Year jurors, confirming that the Kizashi will reach the market before the year's end.

While there's no unveiling of the production model at New York, Suzuki said that the Kizashi will nevertheless appear at other shows prior to its release to the market.

Disappointing news - we've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Suzuki's mid-sized sedan. The Kizashi looks an interesting prospect.
