Dry carbon-fibre is the material of choice for the aero components which should see a few kilos saved while also looking a treat.

A new rear spoiler, elevated and shaped to improve downforce, and a diffuser, beef up the rear while helping to keep the car planted at speed. Up front, there's a new under-spoiler fitted which includes functional venting for the brakes.

The forged magnesium wheels, both lightweight and strong, were designed by SSD in collaboration with wheel experts Enkei. Each front wheel alone saves just over two kilograms in unsprung mass which, as any circuit afficiando will tell you, is one of the best ways to improve overall performance.

The only power-adding modification listed is the Titanium exhaust, once again to save weight, while a pair of racing seats shave even more from the GT-R's portly kerb-weight.

No pricing information or performance figures have been released as yet but we'll keep you posted when more info is available.

If the Shadow Sports Design R35 GT-R can best Nissan's R35 GT-R V-Spec in price by a worthy margin and come close to matching its performance, then potential R35 GT-R owners will have some serious thinknig to do.
