Having only just given you the goss on the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, comes the news that Porsche are recalling 128 examples of the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS cars. The cars in question have been sold to lucky bastards around the globe but have an issue with a defective control console.

The console in question is where the traction control and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) controls are located. Porsche have indicated that both systems may malfunction and cease operating. Cars built between the 28th of September and the 9th of November 2007 are affected and Porsche will be notifying customers about the issue and arranging to have the defective parts replaced.

In the meantime, it could be a good time to join that drift club and show the Japanese manufacturers what an out of control German is capable of…
