Forget Prancing Horse, Novitec Rosso has turned the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano into a stampeding stallion. Extensive engine upgrades have bestowed an extra 140kWs upon this black beauty's curvaceous shoulders, which now produces 594kWs and a staggering 823Nms of pure unadulterated delight.
The standard V12 engine is now sporting a pair of superchargers feeding a surprisingly low 6psi into the six-litre mill. A large intercooler, specially designed intake manifold, new injectors, and an upgraded air filter ensure there's plenty of flow on the intake side. Custom exhaust manifolds and a 90mm exhaust system get the gases moving quick smart and can be switched between 'urban friendly' and 'absolute race raucous' noise level settings.
While the 599 is a stunner in its own right, Novitec hit the wind tunnel to design some stylish and functional aero components to keep the Ferrari planted and to differentiate it from the factory model. A new front spoiler is attached to the standard front bumper, while a new rear diffuser and spoiler are also available. Novitec's side skirts smooth airflow between the wheel housings and provide ample air flow to the rear brakes (while also looking a treat).
The extensive options list goes on to include some equally exotic offerings. Lightweight three-piece 21-inch wheels wrapped in 275/30(front) and 355/25(rear) rubber, a massive Brembo brakes package with 405mm rotors and six-piston calipers, and fully adjustable suspension that allows the nose to be automatically lifted 40mm when required are all available. Couple all this with a generous interior and trim options catalogue and it looks like Novitec has left no stone unturned.
You'd be right if you guessed that none of this comes cheap. The engine upgrades alone will set you back a touch under AUD$88,000, so you'd best have deep pockets if you want to go crazy with that raunchy options list. Still, with a top speed of over 340km/h and a 0-100km/h time of 3.5 seconds, you can kind of justify the expense, right?
