Nissan Dualis exceeds sales targets in Japan

We featured the new Nissan Dualis a couple of weeks ago. At the time we confessed that we liked the styling of the Dualis, thought that its packaging was spot on and expected it to sell well.

News out of Japan suggests the Nissan Dualis is off to a great start. The Dualis went on sale in Japan on May 23 and Nissan were targeting monthly sales of 2000 units. During the first week more than 5000 units were ordered and it now appears that Nissan has a hit on its hands.

Dualis sales are split almost evenly between the 2WD and 4WD variants at 53 and 47 per cent respectively while the best selling colours as usual are silver and black. The initial success of the Dualis is no surprise to us at all...hopefully there will be enough left for the planned debut in Australia in the last quarter of this year.
