Next-Generation Toyota Supra To Use Twin-Turbo Lexus V6?

Toyota's rumoured revival of the much-loved and dearly-missed Supra sports coupe will be twinned with the next-generation BMW Z4, with both companies trading tech secrets to bring their next-generation swoopy two-doors to market before the end of the decade.

What we don't quite know, however, is precisely what will power the next Supra. BMW has its family of 3.0 litre turbo inline sixes to lean on - and most reports up until now have assumed this engine will be shared with Toyota, but fresh speculation says the next-gen Supra's powertrain may be an all-Japanese affair.
