Honda has confirmed it will introduce a luxury version of its small SUV.

Priced at $29,990 plus on-road costs, the special edition HR-V +LUXE Edition builds off the VTi-S model's gear which includes navigation, keyless entry, LED headlights, reverse camera, rear parking sensors and Honda’s LaneWatch blind spot monitoring.

Adding to the mid-spec VTi-S's standard features, the +LUXE gets black leather-appointed trim as well as heated front seats and a special badging.

Four colour options are available: Brilliant Sporty Blue metallic, Lunar Silver metallic, Modern Steel metallic and White Orchid pearlescent.

The car maker says the HR-V +LUXE is set to go on sale this month with Honda Australia Director Stephen Collins saying it ‘outclasses its main rivals with a list of affordable luxury features they simply cannot match’.

“The new +LUXE package maintains competitive pricing, impressive interior space and unrivalled versatility that are hallmarks of the HR-V range,” he says.
