Hyundai has revealed its new look iLoad and iMax vans, adding fresh styling and more equipment to the commercial van and people mover duo.

A redesigned front end, including a new grille and headlights is the most obvious styling change for the new models. Both also get an updated interior that includes a new instrument cluster and infotainment system with 7.0-inch touchscreen.

Another new, and welcome, change is the steering wheel is now adjustable for both reach and tilt, a bugbear of the out-going model.

The revised iMax people mover range introduces a new Elite model line that brings beige leather-appointed trim, dual sunroofs and heated front seats. The iMax Elite, which is priced from $48,490 (plus on-road costs), also comes with new 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome grille inserts and a two-tone colour dashboard.

The working-class iLoad misses out on the luxury touches but does get new automatic headlights, in addition to the above mentioned changes.

The iLoad is still available with either one (van) or two (crew) rows of seats and the choice of a top-hinged (liftback) or barn door-style (twin swing) tailgates.

Mechanically there are no major changes with both models still powered by a 2.5-litre turbo diesel engine. The iMax is exclusively available with a five-speed automatic gearbox, while the iLoad has the choice of a six-speed manual transmission or the five-speed auto for an additional $3000.
