Mercedes’ best-selling C-Class sedan is in run-out mode ahead of an updated model set to arrive later in 2018.
The brand has introduced a new “Edition C” model based on the Mercedes-Benz C200, which brings extra touches including a sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, metallic paint and 19-inch wheels for a sharp price.
Those features build on standard kit including 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, digital radio, dual-zone climate control and a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 135kW and 300Nm outputs.
Available from $60,900 drive-away until May 31, the Edition C costs around $7000 less than the recommended drive-away price for regular C-Class models that miss out on the sunroof, alloys and more.
A new model will arrive in the second half of the year with updated engines, infotainment and driver assistance systems underneath broadly similar bodywork.
