The fastest accelerating four-door Maserati, the 2018 Quattroporte GTS GranSport Nerissimo Edition has arrived.

With only 50 produced for sale worldwide and only five in Australia, Maserati’s limited-edition performance car will cost from $371,990 plus on-road costs.

The Quattroporte is powered by the flagship 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, capable of reaching 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 310km/h.

Each GTS GranSport Nerissimo Edition has a certified plaque attached to the carbon fibre centre console – in case you forget how rare it is.

The 12-way power sport seats are full black leather with red stitching, featuring Maserati’s standard red trident embroided into the headrests.

The Nerissimo has four-way split ventilation with passengers in the back seat given their own set of controls, for added comfort.

More carbon fibre can be found throughout the interior and exterior including the steering wheel, door trims, front and rear splitters, door mirrors and exterior door handles.

Adding to its unique all-black styling, you’ll notice the window surrounds, exhaust pipes and vertical grille bars are also blacked out.

Other features include front and rear sport bumpers, body-coloured side skirts and 21-inch gloss black Titano wheels contrasted against anodised red brake calipers.
