The British small car maker has revealed its new Clubman Masterpiece Edition, which is based on the Cooper S variant and is priced from $55,210 before on-road costs – a $10,000 premium over the stock Cooper S Clubman.
Limited to just 30 examples, the Masterpiece Edition builds on the Cooper S Clubman with a number of exterior and interior styling upgrades.
“The Cooper S Clubman Masterpiece Edition brings an ultra-exclusive MINI experience,” said Tony Sesto, MINI Australia general manager.
Unique exterior touches include a white-silver metallic paint, 'Masterpiece Edition' badging on the C-pillars, dark grey 18-inch alloy wheels and contrasting black roof rails, roof, mirror caps, bonnet stripes and side scuttles.
Inside, the Masterpiece Edition scores Mini's 'leather lounge' seats trimmed in black with front seats offering heating and electronic control functions. The Masterpiece has also been fitted with Mini's black illuminated styling package, leather sports steering wheel, dark grey headliner, diamond pattern floor mats and wireless phone charging.
Each model comes with an individual build plate plaque displayed on the engine bay.
Power comes from a 141kW/280Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and still features the Clubman-specific rear barn doors.
