Kia will introduce four limited edition Australian Open models to accompany the Gland Slam tennis event currently underway in Melbourne which the South Korean automaker sponsors.
The smallest of the four, the Picanto AO Edition comes loaded with a GT-Line sports styling package including contrasting body accents, dual exhaust, 16-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lights, red accented seats and a Babolat tennis kit gift.
The special edition model is available exclusively with a four-speed automatic transmission, priced from $16,777 driveaway with 150 cars available in either white, silver, black, or red.
For just $1000 more the Rio AO Edition comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-look steering wheel and shift knob, side mirror indicator lights, cruise control and a Babolat tennis kit. 300 example of the Rio AO will be available priced from $17,777 driveaway.
Kia Sportage AO Edition comes with a choice of either petrol or diesel engines and includes standard LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, navigation and a Babolat tennis kit.
The South Korean brand has set the price for the petrol variant at $31,777 driveaway and $36,777 driveaway for the diesel model.
Kia’s flagship Stinger forms the basis of the Rafa Signature Edition, which is limited to just 75 examples to tie in with Rafael Nadal’s 75 singles titles. Based on the 2.0-litre four-cylinder 200S variant, the limited edition Stinger wears exterior badging bearing the current world number one's name, along with body decals with the Spaniard's autograph.
Other added include 19-inch alloy wheels, brown leather interior, 8.0-inch touchscreen, nine speaker stereo and Babolat tennis kit autographed by Rafael Nadal. The Rafa Signature Edition costs $47,990 plus on-road costs.
