Kia Picanto X-Line revealed
Kia has launched a special edition range in celebration of the Australian Open.
A beefed up version of the brand’s baby hatchback, the pint-sized Picanto, will bring extra bits, along with tennis ball coloured trim elements.
The Picanto X-Line sits 15mm higher thanks to raised suspension. It also gets a bigger body kit in the form of side skirts, mouldings and front and rear diffusers.
On the outside, it gets twin exhaust tips, 16-inch alloy wheels, electric folding mirrors, LED position lamps with daytime running lights, LED rear combination lamps and special Australian Open Edition badges.
On the inside, red accented seats and alloy sports pedals come standard.
The X-Line Picanto comes in five colour options: Signal Red, Clear White, Titanium Silver, Aurora Black and Alice Blue.
Getting your hands on a five-speed manual will cost $16,990 drive-away, while the four-speed automatic is priced from $17,990 drive-away.
A Sportage will gain 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and integrated side steps, with a starting price of $30,990 drive away in the petrol front-wheel-drive.
Kia’s larger Sorento also gains 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights and integrated side steps, starting at $43,990 drive-away in 3.5-litre petrol variant.
All models receive Kia’s seven-year warranty, roadside assist package and capped price servicing.
