Audi e-tron GT almost revealed
Audi has released teaser images of its latest concept, ahead of its official unveiling this week.
Cloaked in camouflage wrap, the images leave little to the imagination of what the Audi e-tron GT concept will look like.
The official unveiling of the electric performance car will come at the Los Angeles motor show that begins tomorrow and Audi says it expects to have the e-tron GT in production by 2020.
As reported by Drive this week, the zero-emission four-door sedan will use the same fundamentals as the Porsche Taycan, capable of producing around 440kW of power. It gives the German brand a direct rival to Tesla's ground-breaking Model S as the EV market heats up.
The e-tron GT is part of an initial push of three e-tron models by the brand, which starts with the e-tron quattro SUV that will arrive in Australia in 2019. The third model will be an e-tron Sportback coupe-style SUV.
Full details will be revealed when the covers are taken off Audi’s concept in the next 24 hours – stay tuned for more.
