Restricted to just 20 examples in Australia, the Carbonio edition brings a host of exclusive exterior and interior highlights to the Italian muscle car.
Maintaining the same $143,990 (plus on-roads) price tag as the standard Giulia QV, the Carbonio edition adds $8500 worth of extras at no additional cost, including carbon fibre highlights on the front trilobe (the V-shape in the front grille), mirror caps, door sills and around the transmission lever, plus a steering wheel trimmed with leather, Alcantara and carbon and dark 19-inch alloy wheels.
The 20 examples will be limited to either Trofeo white or Competizione Red paint schemes.
There are no mechanical upgrades with the Carbonio edition, retaining the Ferrari-derived 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 that produces 375kW and drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
“The new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition blends the same highly acclaimed driving dynamics, technologies, lightness and efficiency with new distinctive styling features to accentuate its dynamic performance and design,” said Fulvio Antonelli, Head of Alfa Romeo brand in Australia.
“The Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition brings something fresh, unique and exhilarating to the premium sports sedan market in an exciting year for the brand in Australia, spearheaded by the launch of the all-new Stelvio SUV.”
